Timezone
(UTC+13:00) NZ

Facilitated by Miriam Hewson, BOSSIT

This full-scope training guides participants through the essential components of effective business planning. The session begins with understanding the purpose and value of a business plan before moving into market research, industry analysis, and identifying target markets. Participants will explore how to develop an appropriate business model, structure a clear and compelling business plan, set strategic vision and goals, and define their products or services with confidence.

Financial planning is a key focus, covering financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and cost estimates to support sound decision-making. The workshop also introduces risk identification, management strategies, and contingency planning to help businesses navigate uncertainty with greater resilience.

To round out the learning, participants will gain practical skills in communicating and presenting their business plans—crafting clear pitches that effectively convey their strategy, goals, and value proposition.
