Passion & flair is what our next BNZ women in business event is all about. Our guest speakers are Milani Thompson, Director and Head Chef at Artisan Café and Deb Rowles, Director & Co-designer of Level 13 Theme Rooms & Costume Hire. They will share the struggles and success behind building their businesses and how they are navigating through the now. It will be an evening to support and network with other local businesswomen with a glass of wine on arrival and nibbles. Come along to be inspired & aspire to be.
Milani Thompson (left) is the Director and Head Chef at Artisan café. She is a qualified chef and her passion has always been food and bringing people together.
Milani is a wife and mum of two adult boy's, her eldest son is studying Mechanical Engineering and her youngest son who has Asperger, has chosen to go on and help others with learning difficulties by studying and becoming a teacher aide.
Artisan Café is a small independent award-winning cafe with a passion for good food, good coffee and authentic service, with the motto, "handmade with love & care", which embodies their artisan approach to food and sustainable business. Their produce is sourced locally and regionally to ensure a fresh menu which changes seasonally.
Deb Rowles (right) is the director and co-designer of Level 13 and hails from a background in film and television. She is passionate about creating a creative space that supports original music, performance, and comedy.
Prior to Level 13 Deb had/owned Victoria Grove costume hire which is now situated at Level 13 and is the biggest costume hire shop in Rotorua. With Debs 9 years’ experience working in the film and television industry, together with her husband Jeff Flitton, they have brought their skills in set design & costumes to life creating the only private themed venue hire to Rotorua.
