Advertising Options

  • E-Newsletter Promotion – $200 + GST
    Your offer will be featured once in our weekly Mailchimp e-newsletter (sent every Wednesday). Please provide artwork, supporting text (50–100 words), and a link by the preceding Monday.

  • Facebook Promotion – $50 + GST
    We’ll share your offer once on the Rotorua Business Chamber Facebook page, including a boosted post to extend your reach.

  • Double Platform Promotion – $225 + GST
    Get the best of both! Feature once in our e-newsletter and once as a boosted Facebook post for maximum exposure.

Image & Content Specifications – PLEASE READ Before Submitting

To make sure your promotion looks great across platforms, please follow these guidelines:

  • Image size: 600px wide x 200–400px high
  • File format: JPG or PNG, 72 DPI, max 1MB (PDF's cannot be used)
  • Text: 50–100 words (not all text on the image)
  • Fonts: clear and readable (avoid small or crowded text)
  • Simple, clean design (see example below)
  • Provide a website or contact link for click-through

Submissions that don’t meet these specs may not be included.

 

GOOD AD EXAMPLE: Note clean, clear image containing simple text, with further supporting text below. The image links through to the full menu on the advertiser's website.

  • Wrong size (too tall or too wide to display properly)
  • Small fonts that won’t be readable on mobile

Need Help With Your Image?

If you're not sure how to design an ad that meets our specs, Canva is a great tool to use — it’s user-friendly and has many ready-made layouts. We recommend searching for tutorials on YouTube such as “Canva ad design best practices” or “Designing social media ads in Canva” to get started quickly.
